Yesterday was just a really shitty day, didn't go well at all.

I want to say up front that I'm not trying to drag this out and I honestly mean what I'm about to say as constructive advice, not criticism or argument.
I understand what you're saying about being afraid that your comment might not be taken seriously, but you have some obligation to state your opinion to a would-be harasser anyway. The key to sexual harassment is that the advances are unwanted. You have to make that clear to the other person and give them the opportunity to correct their behavior. It wouldn't be fair for them to face disciplinary measures without ever knowing they were doing something wrong.

Proper tagging and labeling of said videos is just as important as posting them.

For what I know this website is to post videos not to correct words...I have better things to do..If you dont like something then vote down but don't start with your corrections all the time...it just annoying, you should be an English professor and correct students..the sift is not a school...bye
In reply to this comment by xxovercastxx:
Actually, I appreciate being corrected when I make a mistake. I've got this thing about trying to do things correctly... terrible, I know.
I just checked; because I was curious and I generally don't pay any attention to who posts what video; and I've now voted 2 of your videos down. Let's not pretend I do it like it's my job.
In reply to this comment by LadyDeath:

In reply to this comment by xxovercastxx:

You've just been added to my list of heroes... excellent and intriguing comment.
I agree that there are a good number of creative and successful games, but the massive number of successful cookie-cutter games kinda rules out creativity as a 'requirement'.
Regardless of if its a sequel or not, games development still requires a great deal of creativity. It's not like they re-use the same art assets or anything. A group of people need to sit down and decide on the art direction, new gameplay mechanics, new levels, etc. and all of that needs to be worked into the existing storyline/character framework. Programmers, meanwhile, usually have to update the graphics and physics engines, fix any outstanding bugs from the original, and add any new features (for instance online multiplayer in Halo 2). Judging by how dismissive you are of the whole process I'm guessing you haven't worked in the games industry before, or if you have, certainly not at any level above QA.

1. Beatsystem - Endlessly Downward
This is exactly what it sounds like. It is a 3 minute track of a repeating loop of tones that sound like they are going downward, endlessly. It is kind of a auditory version of barbershop pole.
I don't know the track but from your description, I'd guess it's a Shepard Scale.

I experience this same phenomenon from packs of women when I walk through Bed Bath & Beyond
I call bullshit. Everyone knows a dude wandering Bed, Bath & Beyond is either gay or waiting for his partner.
Or both.

Am I the only one who noticed the creator drawing connections via imagery that RP does not make in his speech? Quite tempted to downvote, but I think I'll just stay neutral.

How about adding "simons cat" to the tags to maybe help prevent dupes?

Religious and philosophy a thin line there.
I guess one thing that makes the hold thing confusing or misleading is that in the English language there is allot of room for interpretation. If a sound is express as a wave traveling throw a medium then I think is accurate. The perception of that sound is very tricky thing. Some animals perceive those sounds in two different ways. One like a sonar and one like actual "sound".
In reply to this comment by xxovercastxx:
Wikipedia outlines 3 interpretations here. The third echoes what I proposed earlier whereas the first sounds a lot like what you describe. While it does potentially have religious ramifications, depending on what 'answer' you subscribe to, it's still fundamentally a philosophical question, not a religious one.

A sound is a wave traveling throw the air period. Perception is a hold different subject which I don't see how it could possible fit. I belief this question was originally targeted to asked whether the universe exits because of humans rather than regarless of humans. I think is just an old stupid probably religious question that still been echo throw generations for some really stupid reason.

the sentence "if a tree falls and there is not one around, does it make a sound?". It is a sentence that most clearly explain what is wrong with human kind. For some f cked up reason humans thinks that the universe go around them. I hate that! I hate that sentence! I am piss to be a human sometimes. Bunch of arrogant self center bastards.
>>>>You might be missing the intent of the question. It's a thought experiment, not unlike Schrödinger's Cat. You have to break it down to get at the crux of the question.
When the tree falls, it introduces vibrations into the air. When these vibrations make their way into the ear of an animal, they are perceived as sound. The animal need not be human, just capable of hearing.
The provocative part of the experiment is asking yourself if vibrations traveling through a medium are sound, or do they only become sound when perceived?****
